Our Best Seller.
This hand-crafted blend of carefully curated Colorado single malt whiskies is distilled from 100% Barley, then cut with water from the Holy Cross Mountain Wilderness for a taste that is truly unique. The youngest of the whiskies has aged three years, all in 53-gallon charred oak barrels at high-elevation in Colorado. Although this is 100% barley, it appeals to even the die-hard Bourbon drinker with familiar flavors from the charred, new oak cask. The words we hear again and again, “Oh, that’s smooth!”

Fact Sheet
The youngest of the whiskies has aged three years, all in 53-gallon charred oak barrels at high-elevation in Colorado. This makes for faster aging since the whisky goes in and out of the wood more frequently due to our enormous swings in temperature, as opposed to the more temperate climate found in Scotland.

We’ve tucked a real fly fishing fly inside the tin closure of every bottle—because here in Minturn, fly fishing isn’t just a pastime; it’s part of life. Each fly is handcrafted and fully functional, designed to actually catch fish in our local waters, including the Eagle River.
This little fly represents more than just a nod to our mountain surroundings—it’s a symbol of connection. Connection to the wild rivers that carve through our valley, to the traditions of crafting something with care, and to the spirit of adventure that flows through everything we do.
So whether you use it on the river or keep it as a keepsake, know that this fly, like our whisky, is made to honor Minturn’s untamed beauty. Tight lines and smooth drams.
The Blended Malt Whisky has a BWO (Blue Wing Olive) External Body Parachute size 16 made especially for us by Eagle River Outfitters.

Our Labels, A Nod to History
Our labels are based on color schemes we discovered while browsing transcontinental steamship passenger tickets from the early 1900s. For example, our Blended Malt label (above) is based on this steerage Passenger Contract for Passage on the Cunard Line Steamer RMS Ivernia, Departing Copenhagen to Minnesota, via Liverpool and Boston. Dated 11 March 1905.

What do we like to make with this whisky? Well, usually we drink it neat. But at the Wee Dram we’re mixing up some classics.
OUR MINTURN BLENDED MALT SIGNATURE COCKTAILS
At the Wee Dram, our tasting room in Minturn Colorado, we use this blended malt whisky pretty interchangeably with a Bourbon. It works well with these classically Bourbon-forward cocktails. But since it’s not actually a Bourbon, these drinks are often surprisingly complex and full-bodied. Here are some of our favorites:
OLD FASHIONED
Minturn Whisky Blended Malt Whisky, Bitters, Simple Syrup, Dash of Club Soda, Maraschino Cherry, Twist of Orange
BOULEVARDIER
Minturn Whisky Blended Malt Whisky, Campari, Vermouth, Twist of Orange
